Passages @ Compton is a short-term alternative to suspension and expulsion program designed to support students in developing the skills needed for success upon their return to their home school. Through intensive behavior intervention and continued access to core curriculum, students remain academically engaged and avoid falling behind.
At Passages, excellence is achieved by fostering personal growth and accountability. Students participate in Service Learning, reinforcing the idea that positive actions lead to positive outcomes. By giving back to the community, students gain a sense of purpose and learn the value of making good choices.
Students assigned to Passages @ Compton must complete an orientation with a parent or guardian and maintain regular attendance.
"Too often we forget that discipline really means to teach, not to punish." – Daniel J. Siegel
